Semi Round Island Tour – Day 2 半環島之旅 II

The 2nd day, we departed from friend's house in Taichung, heading to Nantou Puli for buses to Ren-ai Town and Sun Moon Lake.
隔日我們從台中的朋友家出發搭(全航)客運往南投埔里。埔里是南投的交通中心，有客運前往各大觀光景點，如日月潭，廬山，清境農場，草屯等等。

We hopped on the bus to Puli to start the day. 又是另一家客運公司!

Off the bus, we randomly tried the meat ball stand next to the bus stop before getting on another bus for Ren-ai. And, wow, it was one of the best fried meat ball we had in Taiwan!
埔里下客運的地方有一家肉丸店，想不到竟然超~好~吃的!!!
There's a famous winery in Puli, but "due to our limited traveling schedule", we had to pass it.
由於時間有限(大家將會看到這幾個字不斷的出現)，我們選擇跳過埔里酒廠。
After eating the delicious meat balls, we satisfyingly got on the bus for Ren-Ai. Very quickly, the scene outside the bus window was no longer town houses or buildings, but fogs and mountains.
享用了美味的肉丸後，我們搭(南投)客運前往霧社。很快的，窗外的景色由灰色的建築物轉變為青山白霧。

One thing we found very interesting is that the residents here use the bus to transfer goods as well! From basket, cakes to packages! The dropped off the stuff to the bus driver, paid for the fair, and someone would be waiting for the bus on the other end to pick them up!
我們意外的發現，客運真的是這裡的重要交通工具。一路上看到許多附近的居民將東西交給司機(有菜，有蛋糕，無奇不有)，投了錢，然後另一邊就會有人來取貨。真的非常有趣!
It's so beautiful out there in Ren-ai Town. This is the town we often hear about whenever a typhoon hitting Taiwan. This town is easily the most difficult place to reach during Typhoon. However, the scenery is just unforgettable. The residential native here are Atayal people.
霧社(仁愛鄉)不愧為霧社，或許是因為陰雨綿綿，一路上都看見雲霧包圍車子，實在太美了。 對於南投仁愛鄉的印象總是颱風肆虐後，支援有困難，來到這裡才知道這裡的面貌。或許也是因為地理因素，這裡還保有美麗的面貌。這裡居住的原住民屬泰雅族。
This town is known for the historical event - WuShe Incident, was the biggest and the last rebellion against Japanese colonial forces in Taiwan. It then followed a massacre of Atayal tribespeople in 1930. The memorial park is located at where the incident took place.
說到霧社就一定會想到霧社事件，現在在事件原址處設有霧社事件紀念公園，立有莫那魯道高大的雕像。在雲霧繚繞的清淨高山裡，卻曾有過這樣的壯烈事跡...。

The red Torii was the only remain from Japanese temple. After the stairs was the Taiwanese Temple.
紅色鳥居是唯一可以看見日治的痕跡。上了階梯卻已變成台灣傳統廟宇，有種奇怪的反差感。

回到霧社仁愛鄉鎮上，可以看到幾間矮房，消防隊警局衛生所等等都在一起。

這裡吃到了特別的夾心豆干。好吃!

Then we went back to Puli for the bus to Sun Moon Lake. 回到埔里，接著準備搭客運到日月潭。

We got to Sun Moon Lake at around 4 PM, so we missed the last ride of the Gondola. 我們到日月潭時已快四點，所以錯過搭纜車的機會。
The native living at Sun Moon Lake are the Thoa People. In 2000, there were only 281 Thao people remianed. They were officially categorized as an individual tribe in 2001.
日月潭一帶的原住民為邵族。2000年僅有281人的邵族人發起正名運動，終於在2001年獲得正名。(921地震後八成的邵族房屋倒塌，暫時遷往台北)
We actually didn't expect Sun Moon Lake would be so beautiful. Maybe the light shower made it look more magical. The scene there was just like Chinese painting, sadly elegant.
對於日月潭我們並沒有帶很大的期待，或許是因為綿綿細雨，讓日月潭看起來格外像幅水墨畫。這裡是蔣介石夫婦最鍾愛的地方之一，來過之後，似乎可以知道為甚麼陸客團一定要來。但說真的，被四面八方前後左右都是陸客團包圍的感覺很煞風景 (囧). 但是看到山水來是忍不住的快門拍不停。

The Han bi sidewalk is about 1.5 KM long. The views along the walk was beautiful.
時間有限，我們決定放棄集集線去走完涵碧步道。步道沿岸真是美極了!

While we finished the walk, it was getting dark, and we were ready to get back to Taichung. We had considered to stay at Sun Moon Lake, but we decided to try the famous motel in Taichung. It's also more convenient for us to get to Tainan the following day. So we took Nantou bus back to Taichung Train station, and transfer to city bus.
我們曾先後考慮過住清境農場(但放棄跳過)，日月潭，或台中。最後決定滿足詹姆士的好奇心去住台中知名的汽車旅館。這也是我們全程花費最高的一晚住宿。
我們住的是沐蘭，ㄝ，是滿華麗的，但是這種華麗感讓人(我)感到不安。呵呵。當晚我們先乘南投客運回台中，再換台中客運回朋友加拿行李。順便吃了頂頂有名的鼎王。肚子差點撐爆~
